About us

Focused. Compliant. Trade-Ready.

Founded in 2015 and based in Pickering, Ontario, Yana Capital Limited exists to take the coordination burden of international trade off the companies doing the buying.

Who we are

A trade partner, not a middleman

Yana Capital Limited is an international trade and supply chain management company. We work with businesses importing goods into their markets and take responsibility for the sequence that gets those goods there: finding and vetting suppliers, agreeing terms, arranging quality checks, booking and routing freight, preparing customs documentation, coordinating trade finance, and handling warehousing and delivery.

Our familiarity is strongest across Asian supply lines, particularly China’s established manufacturing hubs. That is where a large share of the goods we handle originate, and where knowing how a supply line actually behaves is worth more than a directory listing.

Trade-Ready since 2015.

How we operate

Ownership, in practice

Coordination only helps if someone is accountable for it. These are the working commitments behind that word.

  • We confirm requirements before cargo is committed, not after it has sailed.
  • We give one point of contact who knows the file and can answer for it.
  • We say plainly when a route, a supplier or a timeline is not realistic.
  • We keep documentation, classification and payment terms aligned to the same schedule.

Building blocks

What the work rests on

Four things have to hold for a cross-border transaction to run cleanly.

01

Process Discipline

Each stage has a defined owner, sequence and checkpoint, from purchase order through to final delivery.

02

Compliance First

Documentation, classification and regulatory requirements are confirmed before cargo is committed to a route.

03

Network & Access

Relationships with suppliers, freight partners, brokers and warehousing across the corridors we operate in.

04

Capital Alignment

Trade-finance coordination with relevant financing partners so payment terms and shipping milestones fit together.

Compliance & capital

The two things that stop shipments

In our experience, cross-border movements stall for one of two reasons: the paperwork was not right, or the money and the goods were on different timelines. Both are avoidable with enough attention early.

So compliance is front-loaded — classification, documentation and any product-specific requirements are confirmed before cargo commits to a route. And trade-finance arrangements are coordinated against the shipment rather than treated as a separate exercise.

Yana Capital Limited is not a bank or a licensed lender. We coordinate trade-finance structures and payment timing with relevant financing partners and counterparties where appropriate.

Why choose Yana

Five reasons clients stay

One Point of Ownership

Sourcing, freight, customs, capital and delivery are coordinated by the same team, so nothing falls between providers.

Compliance Handled Early

Classification and documentation are prepared before cargo moves, which is where most avoidable delays are created.

Asia-to-Market Familiarity

We work with manufacturers and distributors across Asia and understand how those supply lines actually behave.

Capital Aligned to Cargo

Payment structures and working-capital timing are considered alongside the shipment, not after it.

Direct, Accountable Communication

You deal with people who know your file. Questions get straight answers, including the inconvenient ones.

Founder
“Importers should not have to become logistics experts, compliance specialists and trade financiers just to buy goods internationally.”

That view is why Sachin Patel started Yana Capital Limited in 2015, and it still sets how the company works: take the coordination on, keep the process disciplined, and be straight with clients about what a trade realistically requires.
