Our Capabilities

End-to-End Global Trade Management

Six connected capabilities covering the commercial, physical, regulatory and financial sides of moving goods across borders. They are designed to work together — most transactions touch several of them.

01 / Sourcing

Sourcing & Procurement

Trade starts with the right supplier. We find, vet and manage them.

We work with manufacturers and distributors across Asia, with particular familiarity in China's established production hubs. Supplier selection is treated as a commercial decision, not a search result: capability, capacity, pricing, lead time and reliability are all assessed before an order is placed.

Once a supplier is selected, we manage the commercial detail — pricing, contract terms, order scheduling and consolidation across multiple suppliers where it reduces cost or simplifies shipping.

  • Supplier identification, vetting and onboarding
  • Price and contract-term negotiation
  • Factory audits where applicable
  • Third-party quality checks and pre-shipment inspections
  • Order management and multi-supplier consolidation

02 / Logistics

Logistics & Freight Management

Moving goods is a set of decisions, not just a booking.

We coordinate freight across ocean (FCL and LCL), air, rail where the corridor supports it, and trucking on both ends of the journey. Mode, routing and timing are chosen against volume, budget and how firm the delivery date needs to be.

Port coordination, container management, warehouse transfers and onward distribution are handled as one sequence, with alternative routing considered when a lane becomes congested or a schedule slips.

  • Ocean freight — FCL and LCL
  • Air freight for time-critical cargo
  • Cross-border rail and trucking where applicable
  • Port coordination and container management
  • Warehouse transfers, distribution and last-mile delivery
  • Cargo visibility and tracking where available

03 / Customs

Customs & Compliance

Paperwork is prepared in advance, not chased at the border.

Cross-border movements depend on accurate documentation. We prepare customs paperwork, confirm tariff classification and HS codes, and assemble certificates of origin and any product-specific documents a shipment requires.

We work with customs brokers and the relevant authorities on each lane, and we front-load this work deliberately. Getting classification and documentation right early is the most reliable way to reduce avoidable holds, penalties and rework.

  • Customs documentation and declarations
  • Tariff classification and HS codes
  • Certificates of origin
  • Health, safety and product-specific documents where applicable
  • Coordination with customs brokers and relevant authorities
  • Documentation review ahead of shipment

04 / Risk

Risk & Market Analysis

Trade is exposed to factors outside any one company's control.

Regulations change, currencies move, ports congest and suppliers run short. We look at those exposures when a programme is being planned rather than when it is already under way, so decisions account for more than unit price.

That means reviewing sourcing concentration, mapping where a delay would hurt most, planning contingency routing, and tracking the market conditions that affect procurement in a given category.

  • Political and regulatory risk review
  • Currency volatility considerations
  • Supply-chain bottleneck assessment
  • Sourcing concentration and supplier risk
  • Contingency routing and disruption planning
  • Market trends relevant to procurement

05 / Trade Finance

Capital & Trade Finance

Goods and money need to move on compatible timelines.

Trade slows down when payment terms and shipping milestones do not line up. We help align appropriate trade-finance arrangements with the commercial and logistical requirements of a transaction, working with relevant counterparties and financing partners where applicable.

That covers the structures commonly used in cross-border trade — letters of credit, invoice financing, supplier payment timing, short-term trade credit and foreign-exchange considerations — coordinated against the transaction rather than treated separately from it.

  • Letters of credit and documentary requirements
  • Invoice financing considerations
  • Supplier payment coordination
  • Working capital and short-term trade credit
  • Foreign-exchange and currency considerations
  • Structured transaction support

06 / Distribution

Distribution & Delivery

Our role can continue past port arrival.

Arrival at a port is rarely the finish line. We coordinate warehousing, inventory handling and regional distribution so goods move into the channel they were bought for — wholesale, retail or direct-to-market.

Last-mile delivery is planned alongside the inbound freight, which keeps handover points, storage windows and delivery commitments consistent with the shipping schedule.

  • Regional distribution coordination
  • Warehousing and inventory management
  • Wholesale distribution support
  • Retail integration and direct-to-market requirements
  • Last-mile delivery to end destinations

A note on trade finance

Yana Capital Limited is not a bank or a licensed lender. We coordinate trade-finance structures and payment timing alongside the shipment itself, working with relevant counterparties and financing partners where appropriate.
